Bayonne, a really charming calm atmosphere town. With its rivers, historic streets, and relaxed pace, Bayonne felt like the perfect place to slow down and explore on foot.
I stayed at Villa La Renaissance, and it was a great choice. The hotel is quiet and elegant, with a classic feel that suits the city well. It felt more like staying in a beautiful home than a busy hotel, which made the stay very comfortable.
One of my favorite parts of staying at Villa La Renaissance was the pool area. It was quiet and well kept, making it an ideal place to relax during the day. Whether it was taking a swim or simply sitting by the pool with a book, it felt calm and unhurried. After walking around Bayonne, spending time by the pool was the perfect way to slow down and recharge.
Bayonne itself is easy to love — walking along the river, visiting the old town, and enjoying local food were highlights for me. Staying at Villa La Renaissance made the experience even better.
Overall, it was a lovely stay, and I would happily return to Bayonne again.
